Mahmoud Habboush reports for Reuters on how Gulf states are seeing an increase in cyberattacks on their critical infrastructure. Notably, the article looked at how the UAE has become “a favourite target for hackers, especially when tension heightened in the Israeli-Palestinian confllict.” The article mentions a few more attacks, mostly recites information you all already know, but cited the UAE’s former chief of the Air Force saying that “Iran [will] remain the target of cyber attacks rather than a source for them.”
