For those of you keeping score at home, we won't see the Senate's cybersecurity bill today (when it was rumored to drop). According to an article from Politico, the Senate's cybersecurity bill will likely come out on Feb. 16th.
Up until this point, there have been no cybersecurity proposals from the Senate Republicans. However, the article explained that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson (R) might offer an alternative proposal or a substantive amendment to the Dem's proposal. What would the Senate Republican's proposal look like? Apparently it will contain some of the elements from this Politico op-ed . . .
