Okay, some of you may have already seen this The Economist article (it has made its rounds on Twitter), but for those who haven’t, it’s fantastic. I’ve already quoted a ton of material from The Economist tonight, and no simple summary would do the article justice, so I’ll just leave you with the link. I do have to quote this great line from Dmitri Alperovitch (CrowdStrike), however:
They don’t care if they get caught . . . They’ll go into an organisation and then stay there for five, six years, which of course increases the chances that they get caught . . . [The Chinese] don’t see any downsides to being caught. They have so far not suffered economically or politically for being caught.
Definitely worth a read.
