Ben Packham reports for The Australian on Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s address on national security and cybersecurity. Regarding cybersecurity, Gillard discussed a very interesting collaborative cybersecurity center which, according to Packham:
. . . would be a world-class facility bringing together the expertise of Defence, ASIO, the Attorney-General’s Department, Australian Federal Police and the Australian Crime Commission in a single location.
PM Gillard’s remarks came as she released a new Australian national security strategy titled Strong and Secure: A Strategy for Australia’s National Security.
